Oba Makarna R&D Building
With its oval form, ethnic-motif façade and advanced laboratory infrastructure, the Oba Makarna R&D Building is one of the projects we completed from design to turnkey delivery, with themed details such as a Spice Library and an iconic noodle sculpture
We carried out the architectural design, façade design, interior design and turnkey implementation of this R&D Building in Hendek, Sakarya, with a usable area of 1,200 m², in full.
The project brings together specific, themed design details: an oval volume that blends neoclassical elements seamlessly with a modern architectural language, an original upper-floor façade adorned with ethnic motifs, lighting details built around those motifs, a giant iconic noodle sculpture in the entrance area, sensory analysis laboratories, food laboratories, a pilot production plant and a Spice Library.
Planned on two floors over a 600 m² footprint, the building is in active use.
