Our engineers design and install the laboratory’s electrical infrastructure: power points, lighting, switchboards, UPS, earthing, emergency lighting and low-voltage systems
On every laboratory installation our electrical engineers take the electrical infrastructure from design through to installation. We position the socket outlets and power points around the benches, fume hoods and instruments, develop and design the automation scenarios for the laboratory’s HVAC system, and then install what has been designed.

- Power and wiring designs for heating, cooling and ventilation systems

- Cable sizing calculations; LV and MV cable tray and trunking layouts and routes
- Electrical system calculations (short circuit, earthing, relay settings)
- Equipment schedules and equipment layout plans
- Extra-low-voltage systems: telephone and data, fire detection and alarm, public address and card access control
