Construction and Refurbishment

We also take on the construction and refurbishment work needed to bring the space up to the laboratory design. A laboratory works properly and ergonomically only on sound infrastructure, so we design and install the electrical, gas, hot and cold water and ventilation services to the relevant specifications and standards.

Partition walls, suspended ceilings, painting, flooring and interior fit-out are carried out to the architectural design, in line with the drawings and specifications, in a single programme together with the services, ventilation and furniture installation. This way nothing is lost in coordination between preparing the space and installing the laboratory.

From Planning to Handover

• Shared drawings: we produce electrical and mechanical draft drawings from our laboratory layout drawings. Electricians see where the sockets go, the mechanical team sees the gas, water and drainage points, and the ventilation team sees where fume hoods, safety cabinets and extract flues will stand.
• Working with architects and planners: we send our drawings to architects and planners electronically, in a form they can easily open and read.
• Installation on site: installation is carried out under the guidance of KRCLAB experts with the support of our regional partners, who bring cost advantages and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Conformity check and handover: after installation the fume hoods are tested and calibrated, the required safety conditions are verified and the laboratory is handed over.

Prefabricated Modular Partitions

Where a cleanroom is needed, we build the partitions from prefabricated modular panels. Components such as electrical sockets, services and medical gas are integrated into the panels in the factory; as nothing is cut or fitted on site, the panels go up quickly and cleanly without being deformed.
