- Category:
- Laminar Flow Cabinets
Features
- Air is blown into the chamber from the rear panel; there is no sash and the front is open.
- Room air passes through a coarse pre-filter, a carbon filter and a HEPA filter to create a sterile working space inside the cabinet.
- The HEPA filter retains 99.998% of particles; its 2,000-hour service life is tracked by an hour counter.
- A UV lamp and a daylight lamp are fitted as standard.
- The body and all panels are made of galvanised sheet steel, coated with acid-resistant epoxy paint and oven-cured at 200 °C.
- The work surface is grade 304 stainless steel and the side panels are fixed safety glass.
- The front panel carries a 220 V 16 A earthed socket, daylight and UV lamp switches, a fan speed switch, a fuse box and the HEPA filter hour counter.
- A tap for LPG or a similar flammable gas, an airflow alarm and a VAV control unit can be added as options.
- Supplied as a benchtop unit as standard; an optional separate stand lets it be used independently of a bench.
