Locking and unlocking is done simply by entering the code, with no need to turn or press anything.
A different code each time (public mode) or a fixed code (private mode) can be used.
If the battery runs out while locked, a power supply can be connected to provide temporary power. (1 is supplied with the product.)
For security, the lock is disabled for 5 minutes after 3 consecutive incorrect codes are entered.
If the code is forgotten, the locks can be opened with a master code set by authorised persons.
Runs on DC6V – 4 AAA alkaline batteries. Average battery life is 12 months. (10000 operations)
